THE BEGINNINGS
CYC was launched by Father Bishoy El-Antony of St. Anthony Monastery, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Morcos, marking the establishment of the first English-language Coptic Christian channel.
The University of Michigan Health System conducted a study revealing that children spend approximately 28 hours per week watching television. In response, CYC initiated specialized programming aimed at protecting children from inappropriate content and promoting positive values.
CYC expanded its accessibility by launching live streaming services on platforms such as Amazon Fire TV and Roku, enabling viewers worldwide to access content on various devices, including mobile phones.
